HUMAN RESOURCES BUSINESS PARTNER / GENERALIST, FT, Glen Rock, PA:

Penn-Mar Human Services has an exciting opportunity for an HRBP/Generalist to join our team.  The ideal candidate will be people oriented, self-directed and will require a high degree of organization, strong attention to detail and a high degree of professionalism. 

This role reports to the Human Resources Manager and is based in our Glen Rock, PA corporate office.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Responsible for recruiting efforts or assigned openings, including sourcing, screening and interviewing, and reporting.
  • Use sourcing techniques to identify passive and active candidates to build a strong pipeline of talent.
  • Establish and maintain effective dashboards and reporting around recruiting efforts including time to fill, conversion rates and other appropriate metrics.
  • Participate in the onboarding process for new hires. Customer service oriented with an ability to support all levels and collaborate to solve problems.
  • Support organization in all HR related matters such as employee relations, HR policy guidance and interpretation, performance management, and talent acquisition.
  • Support the HR department in implementing programs to help improve the employee experience.
  • Serve as a liaison between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering policies and helping resolve work-related challenges.
  • Work with HR Director and HR Manager to continue building an HR function that fosters a strong collaborative work environment.
  • Conducts exit interviews, analyzes data and makes recommendations to the management team for corrective action and continuous improvement.
  • Performs other tasks/projects as assigned.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 2+ years' human resources experience, PHR or SHRM Certification a plus.
  • Previous experience recruiting for a variety of roles.
  • Strong sense of initiative and responsibility.
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills with an ability to influence and build strong working relationships at all levels.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills and attention to details are critical.
  • Possess a high sense of urgency and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and additional software programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • A desire to join a growing team while having an impact on the future of the company.
